…or better yet – Tweets and Insta pics!! We collected some of the Tweets and Instagram posts that were published during the Open Living Lab Days 2016 to tell the story of the four days we have spent in Montreal
23 August was the first day of OpenLL16
and so, it began
The first day was dedicated to Research Papers. Divided into three sessions, we had an opportunity to hear 14 different presentations! Participants were also able to vote for the best paper – a prize which was awarded at the end of the Open Living Lab Days (scroll down to find out who won)
Refreshments are always needed on busy days
Research session was followed by Networking and OpenLL JAM session parallel to Appropriating Technology through Inclusive Pedagogy workshop.
In the afternoon, we had a pleasure of listening to two Keynote speakers – Kim Sawchuk and Graham Carr
We ended the first day with a welcome cocktail in our hands which was offered by Concordia University
Day 2 also known as “Conference, Pitching & Networking Day”
After attending Shintaido class and followed by Day 2 registrations, we attended the Official Welcoming to OpenLL16.
At the Discussion panel 1 we learned about Living Lab network as human-centric and citizen-driven open innovation and experimentation platform
Time to refuel!
Presentation by Ilary Lindy on Urban Innovation in the World Bank work

In the afternoon OpenLL16 participants could choose between three activities

3. Co-designing board / digital game for inter-generational learning
For the final activity of the day, we had Glam Games – Game Jam
OpenLL16 participants then either joined Cité Mémoire – walk around Montreal or had a cocktail with Francophonie Living Labs
Learning and co-creating on Day 3
In terms of how many workshops were offered on this particular Thursday, we could say that day 3 was the busiest day! Here is a quick summary in pictures
There were also plenty of fun, educative activities
On the last night of OpenLL16 we had a Social Dinner to celebrate ENoLL’s 10th anniversary.
& We welcomed 10th wave of ENoLL members
…last “activity” of the day. Party in SAT Montreal
Final day: more learning and co-creation sessions & closing session
Until lunch break OpenLL16 participants were attending workshops and walking through a Poster Forest
